Curious about Mahjong but not sure where to start? Join us for a fun and welcoming 3-week beginner series designed to help you learn the game, build confidence, and connect with other Mahjong enthusiasts.

Led by Mahjong instructor Carolyn (@themahjong.la), this series will guide you through the fundamentals of American Mahjong in a relaxed, supportive environment. Whether you've never touched a tile before or have been wanting a refresher, this series is the perfect place to begin.

Over three sessions, you'll learn:
🀄 The basics of American Mahjong
🀄 Tile identification and game setup
🀄 Understanding the National Mah Jongg League card
🀄 Gameplay, strategy, and etiquette
🀄 How to confidently join future Mahjong games and open play events

By the end of the series, you'll have the knowledge and hands-on experience to continue playing with friends or join one of our future Mahjong nights.
